I've built a wordpress plugin that uses the API from photo sharing sites to share when people fave my photos on them within this site.
To show up on the left - simply fave the photo at one of the below sites.
In the future I look forward to making it more available for other wordpess users to benefit from.
This information comes from the Camera and is stored in the EXIF data; occasionally it can get corrupted so if you notice anything odd - please let me know!
It's not all about the camera. Some of my favourite shots were taken with a 4MP point and shoot camera; and I've been lucky enough to have these photos sold. That said sometimes your gear limits you. Even the gear I used for the shot is not perfect - you're mileage may vary!
When I remember - I GeoTag my images - which you can read about in my workflow. It looks like you're in luck!

It's a ventilation shaft, by Thomas Heatherwick. Great, isn't it?

[...] There are so many reasons I love this photo. Whether it’s the pairing of the front two in focus, the creamy twilight colour, or maybe it’s the composition of the four. No hang on a minute it’s that it’s zebras. The world’s craziest hairdo and the most unlikely camouflage mean these are wonderful animals. Hopefully one day I’ll get to actually see them for real; until then I guess I’ll have to make do with Angel Wings by Thomas Heatherwick [...]
