If you’re ever in London, I suggest you take the Thames Clipper, not only is it as cheap as the Tube, its quicker and more sane. This group are travelling just East of Waterloo on the way to Tower Bridge.

A commuter heads for the Thames Clipper ferry at Westferry, in Docklands. Thames Clipper are a fleet of boats that ferry people up and down the thames as an alternative to the tube. They get very busy if the tube isn’t working!

The memorial was erected in 1926; dedicated to the five Foot Guards regiments of the Great War. The Guardsmen are Sergeant R. Bradshaw, M.M., Grenadier Guards, Lance Corporal J. S. Richardson Coldstream Guards, Guardsman J. McDonald Scots Guards, Simon McCarthy, Irish Guards and Guardsman A. Comley, Welsh Guards. The figures were cast from guns taken from Germans during the Great War.

Awesome! So very sharp!
I took a circular cruise on the Thames last week from Tower Hill. It was really good. London takes on a different feel from the water. I also went to the Photography Museum near Leicester Square, strange place, but worth a visit if you are anywhere near.
Very cool shot, the sky almost looks painted in.
