Three hundred years ago today the top of St Pauls Cathedral was put in place. These days, as well as being a major part of London’s tourist industry, it plays a corner stone in London’s planning law as view of it are protected across the city – even if it’s recently dwarfed by city neighbours. (and no it’s not HDR just playing with processing – it is however a vertical panorama!)
In Hyde Park on Saturday I could have (and did) take hundreds of photos or reddy brown leaves; and then I saw this lttle fella; all by himself to one side; gleaming bright yellow.
If you’re ever in London, I suggest you take the Thames Clipper, not only is it as cheap as the Tube, its quicker and more sane. This group are travelling just East of Waterloo on the way to Tower Bridge.
I’ve been wanting to take this shot for a while, the light wasn’t perfect, but it just means I’ll be back here again in the future!
