Maybe he think's our vision is based on movement?
According to the squirrel in this photo (which is very red for what I think is a grey) no one can see him and he blends in to the background completely. Which is why he sat there motionless, hehe!
He bounded accross the path, and stopped for the shortest of moments and had a portrait taken, just before running up a tree to get the next chestnut for the winter. Taken in Hyde Park London on Saturday gone. – Best Viewed Bigger
