This pair of whistling ducks (why are they called whistling ducks? Whistle at them and see!) Have just finished having a drink and are re-arranging their feathers. They are my favourite group at the WWT as they are ALWAYS preening themselves!! Taken with LFM @ WWT London.
I wonder what this duck's thinking as they stare across the pond? More than likely questioning why there are 10 ducks with odd wings and long round beaks pointing at it that click I guess.
I'm continually amazed by the balance of birds that stand on one leg – especially with an over the shoulder look likte this one!

At the moment this is a static map; and it only show this photo; I'm working on including nearby photos and making the map draggable :)
