Or not quite. One of the illions of ladybirds that plagued the North Norfolk coast earlier this month; snoozing in the sun
According to the squirrel in this photo (which is very red for what I think is a grey) no one can see him and he blends in to the background completely. Which is why he sat there motionless, hehe!
Hoverflys devour the fauna in Norfolk for its Nectar, earlier in the month.
I almost binnned this photo as it took a while to spot that I caught this pair just after take off. They are flying in a pair for mating. I'm not sure if this is before or after as the male doesn't want the female to mate with anyone else!

Great shot, but zoomed in/cropped a bit more would have been even more amazing I think. But great capture nonetheless!
Hey – I tried to keep the diagonal with the other flower head and keep it on the 3rd rule point in the top right but yeah it's tough sometimes to decide how much negative space to leave around it
Thanks for the bee-stroking tip that you gave in your other photo a few weeks back or so. Just a day after I read your caption, I found a bumblebee dozing on a flower in Dublin, and when I nudged its back, it just moved a tiny bit and seemed to settle back into sleep. I would never think to tickle a bee, so thanks for that! :)
