East Coast Memorial

The memorial commemorates U.S. servicemen who died in coastal waters of the western Atlantic Ocean during World War II. A total of 4,609 names are inscribed on both sides of eight 19-foot-tall granite pylons. The pylons are arranged in two rows of four each. Between the two rows stands a bronze statue of an eagle, erected on a black granite pedestal. The eagle faces the Statue of Liberty in New York harbor. - Wikipedia It's a big difference to the new monuments that stand proud and glossy behind it in downown Manhattan huh

I've built a wordpress plugin that uses the API from photo sharing sites to share when people fave my photos on them within this site.

To show up on the left - simply fave the photo at one of the below sites.

In the future I look forward to making it more available for other wordpess users to benefit from.

Camera Information

This information comes from the Camera and is stored in the EXIF data; occasionally it can get corrupted so if you notice anything odd - please let me know!

My Gear

It's not all about the camera. Some of my favourite shots were taken with a 4MP point and shoot camera; and I've been lucky enough to have these photos sold. That said sometimes your gear limits you. Even the gear I used for the shot is not perfect - you're mileage may vary!
