Times Square
At the turn of the year a giant ball drops over Times Square; but do you know why? It leads back to (you guessed it!) London - and in particular the observatory looking over the docklands. Captains used to set their time from a ball dropping on top. It dropped at 1pm - 60 minutes after they observed high noon when the Sun is at it's highest.

I've built a wordpress plugin that uses the API from photo sharing sites to share when people fave my photos on them within this site.

In the future I look forward to making it more available for other wordpess users to benefit from.

My Gear
It's not all about the camera. Some of my favourite shots were taken with a 4MP point and shoot camera; and I've been lucky enough to have these photos sold. That said sometimes your gear limits you. Even the gear I used for the shot is not perfect - you're mileage may vary!
