Golden Sunset
One of my favourite every shots - this is actually from Christmas Day,
I was going to shoot a lovely sunset but it's horribly grey, no colour at all :(
Still this gorgeous sunset more than makes up for it, I love that the glow bounces on the tarmac so beautifully.
December Challenge - Dad
Dad - taken on my shiny new EOS 400D he bought me for Christmas. Not looking his happiest - mainly as its cold and we're waiting for a boat to come into harbour which never turned. Still thank you for the beginning of another era in my photography Dad - no doubt an expensive one!
Misty Picket Post
I drove past this in Christmas 2004 and this is the first time I’ve seen this happen since. The mist rolls down below Picket Post down towards Bournemouth. Truly unbelievable yet I got the shot!
Tinsel Bokeh

Up close and infinite focus - here’s some tinsel on the Christmas Tree from 2cm. Bokeh is simple when you know how - its just blur, this is extreme but there are equally good pictures where it’s the background.
There are even ways of changing it’s shape with different shaped lens caps…
Canary Wharf - East Entrance

This is the East Entrance to the Jubilee Line station at Canary Wharf - the newest and the least used. In fact it’s only got two escalators as opposed ot the six at the other end. Oddly I odn’t have that photo but it’s in the To Do List…

Albert Memorial

I’m truly pleased with this shot, The memorial is sharp and centered, level and the clouds are showing as I wanted :D
…and it was all yellow

Taken in the pouring rain using my work backpack and wooly hat as a stand from the base of the fountain to maximse persective. Gorgeous mist - no change in warmth from the real thing tonight - I could take this photo all day
