Albert Memorial

I’m truly pleased with this shot, The memorial is sharp and centered, level and the clouds are showing as I wanted :D
…and it was all yellow

Taken in the pouring rain using my work backpack and wooly hat as a stand from the base of the fountain to maximse persective. Gorgeous mist - no change in warmth from the real thing tonight - I could take this photo all day
Monaco Monk

This is a monk at the Monaco Palais, taken low and converted to high contrast monochrome. The birds were thrown in for free.
CTRL + N
This morning the final piece of the intended jigsaw is in place for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) to carry people to and from Kings Cross (well it’s symbiot brother St Pancras International). This means that I’ll no longer be able to watch the trains coming in and out of waterloo and that there is a lot of now empty space at the no longer
Resolution

Second attempt at flash + long exposure - this time on purpose! I really love this piece.
Seen from afar it looks like a man, from close up it looks like a city. It is wonderful to be able to site a work that interacts with the daily life of the street
