Refreshing content

« Owning your Google result set? Deer portait »

This is an old post and has been updated here. It is such a shame that objects on the internet (blog posts, podcasts) and even in the traditional media such as TV shows that you cannot update them easily.

For instance if I started a post “Yesterday xxxx happened” it wouldn’t roll to “On Sunday xxx happened” or “On the 6th of May xxx happened” automatically, in fact it’s almost worth trying to start learning how to make a WordPress plug-in to do so.

Obviously this is a lot harder in media other than text and is why on BBC News for instance you’ll always see articles reference the full date raher than this morning, and likewise on Wikipedia.
