Refreshing content #2

« Macro Grolsch I Miss you Mumma »

I was looking through my archives and this item popped up about refreshing content. Which is very poinient now thanks to the New York Times.

The NYT have recently started a drive to make their content viewable in search engines, the problem is that their old archives are now becoming visible, which is a great thing, but only if the content is updated. Sadly the NYT have not been doing this and have therefore practically republished out of date and possible incorrect information.

So I state again - revisit your content often, the internet is not set in stone!

[...] This is an old post and has been updated here. It is such a shame that objects on the internet (blog posts, podcasts) and even in the traditional media such as TV shows that you cannot update them easily. [...]

Have your say
