Ground Hog Resolution Review Day: 2
Back in January I wrote up a list of ground hog day Resolutions for 2008. The premise is that on palindromic (!) days - i.e. the 2nd of February, 3rd of March etc - I review the goals, targets and objectives. Thanks to Dave Seah for the idea.
So how am I getting on?
- Start selling my photography
I have my first Canvas in the works (and probably another on the way!) they might even be signed and auctioned off (lol, if only) however I’m looking into other print shops so there may well be a shooping cart button on this site this month! - Contribute more to the community
Crikey, I’ve taken 2,000 shots in February three quarters of which were taken (and wittled down to 400~) in three photowalks in a week, First there was the Switched on London shoot, then the Portobello Road Market shoot and finally a shoot inside London Transport Museum. After a long hiatus I’ve found the little heart image on Zooomr (more on Zooomr later in the week) and I’m really enjoying other people’s shots, a well needed dose of inspiration, thank you all! - Get my best shots up on this site
There’s a steady flow ofshots coming up now - almost 1 per day in February so it’s getting on track, so I might turn my effort into making it a better experience on here using custom fields. - Write testimonials for other photographers on this site
Yet another month without one, I have a long list, and I really should get on with it, I’m sorry!
- Shoot more Portraits
Hmm only the odd shot in February - and nothing I can post up (by request of the people) but I’m getting there.
Overall? Slow progress is being made, progress needs to be at a faster rate, sadly it’s going to be a hard month at work, it’s the UK Budget next week and I’m working through the night like in the PBR - although it did produce this lovely shot ![]()
