Le Grande Arche de la Fraternité

Le Grande Arche de la FraternitéI went to Paris to get this one shot! Yes it was worth it and you can see from other shots that day I got a lot of shot's I didn't expect!

This is my final shot this year (unless I get anything new and spectacular) - but don't panic! I've queued up a week of posts on how a photo gets from the camera to the web (well how I do it) Mainly not to show off but to ask if you've got any tips. So come back tomorrow at 12pm UK time for the first article!

Axe historique

Axe historiqueThis line running through the middle lines up the louvre, the Arc de Triomphe and Le Grande Arche. Taken from the top of the steps of the Arch (itself turned to make another line with La Tour Eiffel and La Tour Montparnasse) you can see (when viewed large) people enjoying the arch, with photos looking at it, photos looking the other way, lunch, afternoon chats, a very personal moment in the life of a city, and one of my favourites from the day.

04:29:19

04:29:19I've had an odd day. A 3 hour train journey turned into a 12 hour Bus > train > train > bus > ferry > bus journey. This was the shot of me in the hotel before we left. Paris shots will be coming soon though.
