One of my first ever manual shots - outside the front door with the midday Sun poking through the vent. Yes in January the mid-day Sun in London is practically horizontal...

Taken from Hungerford Bridge on the way from the Embankment place (on the night of the
PBR) over to Waterloo. You can see St Paul's cathedral Tower 42 and the Gherkin lit up in the night sky behind Waterloo Bridge.

In the spirit of
David Seah's successful resolutions from 2007 (so named as they are checked on the nth day of the nth month and the first is Groundhog Day, the 2nd of February) I've decided to make mine public to see if I can keep to them!

One of my favourite every shots - this is actually from Christmas Day,
I was going to shoot a lovely sunset but it's horribly grey, no colour at all :(
Still this gorgeous sunset more than makes up for it, I love that the glow bounces on the tarmac so beautifully.

Dad - taken on my shiny new EOS 400D he bought me for Christmas. Not looking his happiest - mainly as its cold and we're waiting for a boat to come into harbour which never turned. Still thank you for the beginning of another era in my photography Dad - no doubt an expensive one!
