Staring concentration
mutual trustThis shot (about 7 months old) is from a cold day with the wind flowing through this horse's hair. He came over to say hello while Dad and I walked through the forest. I think he trusts me, and I trust him. Interestingly I'm watching Walk the Line in the background, and the colour treatment appears to have worn off unexpectedly!
Portrait of a Burrowing OwlI'm not sure if this is Clove or Paprika but this is one of my favourite shots of the day. Their native habitat is the Americas so keep your eyes peeled over there!
forgotten cartThis cart was shot on sunday (so just in March! oops!) just south of Ringwood. It's obviously been forgotten and left to pasture.

Eagle in profileI think it's Othello the African Fish Eagle - I'm sure you'll tell me if I'm wrong?
